Well we finally did it! Dillon is (finally) well again and I've got my act together; so here it is, our level 1 online audition........
Yesterday we did a trial run and Dillon decided he would be an extreme LBE, rather than his usual LBI. So today when he was his usual self and everything went smoothly, what took 10 minutes yesterday, only took 6 today! So I had to improvise after the pedestal and the last 2 minutes were made up on the fly! I hope it doesn't show!
Anyway I'll send it off for assessment and we'll see what Parelli think...........
Many many thanks to my able cameraman, Gareth, who offered not only technical and cinematic support, but also emotional support and encouragement throughout my Parelli journey.

Very nice stick-to-me. If only I can get Whinney to do the same without eating me I'd be very happy.
The relaxing music perfect, he looks so chilled when you are doing your helicopter carrot stick thingy, very nice.
Not sure he wanted to get off the pedestal though ;)
Congratulations (in advance) on an easy level 1 pass.
Love Garfie X X X
Thanks G. It was definitely a different horse that showed up than the day before!!! But as you know, I do really love all that energetic, dominant defiance - it makes such a great change to the 'why should I?' LBI! And it is just lovely that he feels well enough again to be energetic, dominant and defiant!
:)
Lovely! Extremely chilled.
Level 1? Yeah right... ;) Level 2 audition next week then?!
Thanks Beth ;-) I am very proud of Dilly!
We decided not go straight to the Level 2 audition because I want my red string!!! I know, it's not about the string, but I still want it!!!
I also want to perfect some sideways and circling games before submitting - I'm having to refresh Dillon's mind after almost a year off! He hasn't forgotten, but I want to take things slowly and give him the time he needs. He also need to build his fitness.....
Hopefully by late Spring we will submit our Level 2 Online.
